The CID yesterday (24) questioned former Minister and Parliamentarian Johnston Fernando at length regarding the investigation into the attack on the Galle Face protesters.
Fernando appeared before the CID following a Court order, Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.
The attack on the Galle Face protesters took place on May 09. The CID will first question former Minister Johnston Fernando in this regard on May 24. He was interrogated for about 5 hours. He was questioned for the second time a month after the first day of questioning.
