The second T-20game in Sydney was a real entertaining game and Sri Lanka did an outstanding job to fight back and nearly pull off a victory. Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka praised opener Pathum Nissanka after the second T-20 game against Australia in Sydney. I'm really impressed by the performance of Nissanka, He is a world class player." Actually at the start of the game we bowled really well but I think we gave away 10 runs extra in the Australia innings.

Shanaka further said during our innings we lost too many wickets early on putting a bit of pressure. However our boys showed their fighting spirit and these youngsters and I am very impressed with their performances said skipper Shanaka.

Meanwhile Sri Lankan team is getting ready to face the deciding game today at Manuka Oval grounds, in Canberra after close battle in Sydney.

They expect to rectify their mistakes to gain victory and keep the series alive. Sri Lankan team is concerned about their top order failure and expected to include Kusal Mednis who is out of isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 and looks set to come straight into the side, in place of Danushka Gunathilaka. The rest of the side is likely to remain the same, with Binura Fernando still in isolation after missing Sunday's match due to testing positive for Covid-19 and Nuwan Thurshara will get another chance.

Australia is likely to make two changes with Steve Smith needing to be replaced, and either Josh Hazlewood or Pat Cummins likely to be rested. Moises Henriques is the obvious replacement for Smith in the middle order, and would slot straight into his exact role.

Starc was rested in the second T20I, although his recent T20I form hasn't been great. Jhye Richardson is the likely choice as far as the quicks are concerned if they want to experiment with a different new-ball bowler.

The Manuka Oval in Canberra has only hosted two T20Is, and scores have not been overly high; however, it has normally been an excellent batting track in the BBL.

The weather is set to be all clear for the cricket to take place and once again a real entertaining game is expected today.
