Hambantota District Secretary H. P. Sumanasekera assuming duty.
H. P. Sumanasekera assumed duty as Hambantota District Secretary with the participation of a limited number of people amidst religious observances at the District Secretariat of the Magam Ruhunu Administrative Complex, Hambantota recently.
He received his primary education from Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Kalutara and his higher education from Ananda College, Colombo and obtained his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Public Management from the University of Colombo.
He said that he would develop the Hambantota District and focus on the common needs of the people in the district, especially to educate the public on preventing the spread of COVID.
