RULA International and World Research Congress conferred, one of the premier Insurance Professionals of Sri Lanka Dinuka Chandraratne with the title of Asia’s Outstanding Service Award for 2021 at Asia Awards which is the Asia’s No. 1 Brand and Leadership Excellence Awards media partnered by the World Chamber.
The award ceremony will be held on June 29, 2021 at Courtyard By Marriott, Madhurai, India.
Dinuka Chandraratne, is a Professional Insurance and Risk Mitigation Consultant with over 18 years of hands-on experience in consultation. He has provided his services to many leading corporates and individuals in the island with the most suitable risk mitigation techniques along with the most appropriate insurance solutions. Over 2,000 clients annually utilize services of Dinuka, which earned him the reputation of being one of the most preferred insurance professionals in the country. He is a master when it comes to construction and hospitalization related solutions in addition to all non-life related consultations.
Bidding farewell to his exhilarating life of 14 years at Nalanda College, he chooses to forego the opportunity to be a Management Graduate of the University of Sabaragamuwa and accepts the scholarship from a private institution to follow Chartered Management Accounting (CIMA-UK).
He joins his family business Chandraratna Consultancy Services (Pvt) Ltd as a Director as soon as he starts his higher education in 2003 in order to grow the family business.
After gaining substantial exposure in the Insurance & Risk Mitigation as a consultant, Dinuka obtains his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the London Metropolitan University in UK to strengthen his forte and soon started his own consultancy firm, ‘Chandraratne Consultancy Services’ in the year 2019.
He also has become one of the very few to win the prestigious Chairman’s Club membership for more than 5 years and winning awards every year for his professional achievement at both Janashakthi and Allianz. Currently he is one of the Prestigious Millionaires’ Club members at Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd.
Dinuka, while flourishing professionally, extends more than a helping hand to charity through the Lions Clubs International (LCI) since 2009. He was instrumental in giving leadership to refurbish the Pre-natal ward at the National Institute of Mental Health, Angoda and arranging foreign donations for portable medical equipment to the NethSetha Lions Vision for Eye Hospital in Ratnapura.
He is also a Prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow and ELLI & RLLI graduate from the Lions Clubs International who even represented Sri Lanka in its 100th International Convention held in Chicago, USA.
Professionally, Dinuka is a member of Business Network International (BNI) and currently functioning as the Vice President of Infinity Chapter in Sri Lanka.
