The Peliyagoda Crime Division arrested two suspects with 10 grams of ICE (Crystal Methamphetamine) and 1.5 grams of heroin from Nawaloka Roundabot in Peliyagoda Police Division.
The raid was carried out on a tip off by the officials attached to the Peliyagoda Crime Division and suspects along with the seized drugs were handed over to the Peliyagoda Police for further investigations.
The suspects are residents of Grandpass and Wellampitiya areas. They were produced before the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Peliyagoda Police are investigating.
Meanwhile, another suspect was arrested with 5.24 grammes of heroin by the Peliyagoda Crime Division near the Peliyagoda flyover.
The suspect is a 47-year-old resident of the Kelaniya area.
He was produced before the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court yesterday and Peliyagoda Police are investigating.
