Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said that, 34 persons were arrested for not wearing face masks and failing to maintain social distancing during the last 24-hours.
The DIG stated that 392 suspects have been arrested since October 30 for not wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing in public areas.
24 police divisions are still under isolation due to the detection of COVID-19 positive cases.
