UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene said that all should shed their petty differences and join hands to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The time has come for us to think of our responsibility without being divided. He said that every citizen has a responsibility to act in a manner that would help free the country from the pandemic.
Wijewardene was speaking at the opening of the Ranweta around the Samudra Raja Maha Viharaya Bo tree at Wadduwa on Saturday.

Former Parliamentarian Mervin Silva said that we can come over the COVID-19, if we act in a responsible manner.
