The Western Province Department of Ayurveda provides the public with free medicine that boost immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Provincial Governor Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Goonetileke along with Provincial Health and Indigenous Medicine Ministry Secretary Gamini Darmasena and Provincial Commissioner of Ayurveda Medicines Dr. Mala Perera initiated the programme.
The medicines are being given to the infected and those who are undergoing quarantine, public servants, tri-forces officers and those in essential services.
Ayurveda hospitals are manufacturing the required medicines in this regard.
The Divisional and District Community Health Medical Officers, Ayurveda Community Health Medical Officers and the official website of the Department of Ayurveda of the Western Province www.ayurveda.wp.gov.lk will provide the details about the programme.
