Kuliyapitiya Central College students produce robot to treat COVID patients

Three students of the Kuliyapitiya Central College have developed a robot to facilitate treatment for COVID-19 patients.

The device equipped with audio-visual cameras enables the doctors to examine patients from a distance.

It can also detect symptoms by moving around the patient's bed as controlled by a remote control. The prescribed medicines can also be distributed among patients in accordance to their bed numbers with the help of the robot.
