Minister of Trade Dr. Bandula Gunawardena reiterated that there is no shortage of essential commodities in the country. The Minister made the observation during an inspection tour of the Pettah Wholesale Economic Centre yesterday.
The Minister said that rice, sugar, flour, dhal, potato, onion and other commodities are available and requested the general public not to hoard items or panic buy as there was sufficient stocks.
