One hundred and sixty seven patients were being treated for coronavirus at the old Hambantota general hospital as of October 19 and of them two or three patients are daily discharged after recovery, hospital Director Dr. Suranga Ubesekera said.
He said that the patients are from different parts of the country while one person is a resident of Hambantota district.
He also said that all the required facilities for the treatment of coronavirus are available the Hambantota old general hospital.
