Withanage Ravinath Buddhika Waidyasekara Weerasinghe of No.252, Galle Road, Dodanduwa was sworn in as a Justice of Peace for whole island in the presence of the Galle District Judge recently.
He is the youngest son of Keerthirathna Weerasinghe and.Sumana Irangani Weerasinghe. An old boy of the Richmond College, Galle, he has been working as an English trained teacher in the government sector for 25 years and for 10 years at the Foundation of Goodness in Seenigama,Hikkaduwa. He is an undergraduate of the Open University.
He is also a journalist of the Associated News Papers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House).
Weerasinghe is the Chairman of the Sinha Sports Club in Dodanduwa and the Baranasuriya Children's Development Centre in Hikkaduwa.
