Taj Samudra Colombo will be celebrating the Oktoberfest 2020 at the Grand Marquee/North lawns. The four-day long celebration will run from October 8 between 6. P.m. to 12 midnight.
The event will have a star-studded lineup of local entertainment comprising of Infinity, Magic Box mix up, Redeemers, 2 Forty 2, DJ Shiran along with emcee Dr Sean.
An A La carte menu with appetizers, mains and desserts along with beverage counters will be on offer for all guests.
This year there will be a host of unique drinks served at the event and guests will get a chance to enjoy and discover hand crafted beverages.
Tickets can be purchased from the Events desk at the Taj Samudra Colombo and a 15% discount will be offered to all guests who purchase 5 tickets or more.
The world’s largest German festival began as a wedding celebration more than 200 years ago when Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese on October 12, 1810. The decision to repeat the horse races, and celebrations in 1811 was what gave birth to Oktoberfest, the largest German festival in the world.
