The Mansion at No. 5 unveiled its venue this week and opened its doors to offer a venue for hire like no other. Located in the heart of Colombo at No. 05, Geethanjali Place Colombo 3, the venue offers guests a private venue perfect for a special occasion, pop up or corporate event.
The Mansion at No. 5, was previously owned by Sir Alfred Soysa, the Governor in the 1900’s and was then converted into a family home. The venue with its long-standing history was recently refurbished by Kahawatte Farook along with Natheera Farook, a key driver to upscale the home to a stunning property that is perfect for a variety of events. The new and upgraded venue, opened its facilities for bookings for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, religious ceremonies, private buffets and corporate events to name a few.
Commenting on the opening of the venue, Owner, M.H.M Farook stated: “It is humbling to see the response from guests wanting to book the venue for events. We welcome everyone to visit the property and offer our services for all occasions. The Mansion at No. 5 will offer custom made packages to suit all our guests needs and requirements.”
Exuding a sense of timelessness with its design and style, The Mansion at No. 5 offers three different categories for hire which include booking its banquet facilities for 150 guests or the use of the entire venue with its first and second floor to accommodate upto 300 guests. Guests can also book the Lawn, an outdoor area ideal for BBQ parties upto 25 guests or use the venue for a pop-up location. -TS
