The people move about in Jaffna without any restriction.

Shops, filling stations, liquor shops and state offices are functioning smoothly. The residents told that they prefer to live in harmony with Sinhala people.

They said they can visit Kataragama and Munneswaram freely. Many people from the south visit Nagadeepa and Madu as well, they said.
