Chinese Embassy, ACJU launch booster class supporting plan for OL students

The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the All-Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU), hosted a ceremony at the Al Hidaya Auditorium on Tuesday and launched a supporting plan to provide booster classes for more than 700 Grade 10 students who are preparing for their examinations this December. These pupils are from 19 different schools across Colombo with different backgrounds, and all of them are from low-income families. During the ceremony, Chinese Embassy Chargé d’affaires Hu Wei, together with other diplomats from the mission, also gifted stationery supplies and schoolbags to another 135 young students for their new semester.
