Muditha Mawattage, Chairman of football for Blue Eagles Sports Club said that sports are in demand to maintain the socio-economic status of a country. With the foundation backed up in stabilizing sports, the present government created a major environment, while controlling the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. Thus this outbreak made havoc in the whole world disturbing all major sports tournaments which were scheduled and the sportsmen/women were stuck with their daily schedules as all human beings were staying at home with the pandemic of 2020.

Challenging the whole world, society and the Sri Lankan sports arena the Blue Eagles sports club made a huge change in soccer.

The Blue Eagles SC holding all responsibilities, developing and maintaining the skills and talent definitely challenged the game. Totally abided by the law of military, conducting and engaging with duties the players were able to stabilize the power of soccer and go for the finals of FFSL President’s Cup 2020. Maintaining the strength, Stamina, and practices were the moral of the players to face struggling tournaments and to move forward for the finals. Of course, the Blue Eagles SC challenges the soccer players of Sri Lanka and is looking forward to win the FFSL President’s Cup for the year 2020. With honour and pride, the Blue Eagles SC has given a message not only to the field of soccer in Sri Lanka but to the whole world, that striving for excellence is the spirit of team effort and mental power that stands with pride to achieve the goal of success.
