The first public meeting in support of the United National Party (UNP)
candidates contesting for the Digamadullah District at the forthcoming General Election will be held tomorrow (23) at 2.00 p.m. at the Lloyds Reception Hall in Addalaichenai.
UNP Pottuvil Organiser and Candidate U.K.Athamlebbe briefed about the meeting at a media conference on Monday in Addalaichenai.
UNP Leader and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be the Chief Guest, while UNP high ranking officials, candidates, organisers and Local Government Authority members will participate.
UNP Pottuvil Organiser U.K.Athamlebbe will preside the meeting.
He said the UNP will secure over two seats from the district. He
requested the voters to elect honest candidates to strength the hands of UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
