UPDATE: The United National Party (UNP)’s Election manifesto will be launched today.
The manifesto will present the UNP’s future programme of work to strengthen the domestic economy in order to revive the country’s economy.
UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said that he is ready to debate with the Government on the content of the manifesto. Addressing a youth meeting at Sirikotha yesterday, he said the UNP’s future programme includes how to find more income generation avenues, steps to control the COVID-19 pandemic, and reviving youth engagement in politics among other proposals.
