The Attorney General will file separate indictments before the Colombo High Court against former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka and former OIC of Welikada Police Station and present ASP Sudath Asmadala.
Deputy Solicitor General Dileepa Pieris made these remarks when the magisterial inquiry into the alleged accident that took place in Rajagiriya was taken up before the Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjana Silva yesterday.
Deputy Solicitor General Dileepa Pieris further stated that separate indictments would be filed against two suspects for concealing the truth and fabricating evidence.
Colombo Crime Division informed the court that they have concluded the investigations with regard to this incident.
The Magistrate fixed further inquiries for September 2.
