Fairs can be held by July 6 by following health guidelines set by the Health Ministry, and Local Government Bodies and other such entities will facilitate them, Health Promotion Bureau Director Dr. Palitha Karunapema said.
He was speaking to the electronic media recently.
Dr. Karunapema said that a simple lifestyle will be promoted that is good for the people in every aspect. This new normal lifestyle saves people’s time, money and other resources.
Dr. Karunapema said that nothing can be done now in the ways things were done before COVID-19. Health guidelines for doing things without a large number of people have been given. But everything should be limited, he said.
Dr. Karunapema said the trilingual health hotline, 1999, operates 24 hours to obtain information about COVID-19 that has been set up by the Suwaseriya of the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB).
