Lankan National Soccer Pool begins training

The Sri Lanka National Football Pool went into training from yesterday at the Beddagana Sports Complex having got the greenlight from the Ministry of Health to resume training after the Coronavirus.

The 18 member national pool will go into a residential training camp under the watchful eyes of new National Coach Amir Alagic in accordance with health regulations which will stand them in good sted when they confront Korea (North and South) and Lebanon in their Asia Cup qualifying matches. The National poolists have undergone a PCR Test along with technical staff.

The Sri Lanka National Pool consists of Prabath Ruwan Arunasiri, Mahendran Dinesh, Chalana Chameera, Sivakumaran Rubanraj, Niran Kanishka, Y. Duckson, Jude Supan, Charith Rathnayake, Ashfiqur Rahuman, Afil Mohamed, Mohammed Fazal, Mohamed Sabeer, Rizkan Faizer, Sajith Kumara, Abdul Bashith, Kavindu Ishan, Rifkhan Mohamed and Dilip Suraj Peiris.
