Thirty four Lankans stranded in Nepal return

A group of stranded Sri Lankan expatriates in Nepal due to the COVID -19 outbreak, arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday on a special flight from the Himalaya Airlines.

Many returnees of the 34 are students in higher studies at Nepal universities, officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) said.

They were subjected to PCR tests and directed to the quarantine centres managed by tri-forces.
