Thirty-three more sailors discharged

Thirty-three more Naval personnel who were receiving treatment for the coronavirus were discharged from hospitals, last Sunday, the Navy said.

Twelve of the sailors were from the Homagama Hospital, 8 were from the Minuwangoda Hospital, 7 were from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, 3 were from the Kattankudy Hospital, 2 were from the Naval General Hospital, and 1 was from the Welikanda Hospital.

At present, a total of 712 Naval personnel who were receiving treatment for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospitals. They were all instructed to follow self-isolation procedures for an additional two weeks.
