Buddhani Taraka has been showing talent in writing since her childhood. Her parents and teachers predicted that he would become a writer one day. Encouraged by their words, Buddhani thought that she would publish a book of her own one day.

Consequently, she started writing her book in 2015, but her destiny has other plans for her. She had to accept a job as a nurse in the same year and committed her full time in caring the sick keeping her writing aside. However, she is nourishing her hope all this time and finished writing her book last year.

Her novel is her utmost expectation in life and she decided to present her debut book to her husband on the day of their wedding.

This is the first time that a nurse has written a book both in digital and print form. Her book was launched at the Boossa Amari Hotel in Galle at her wedding when the couple was tying the knot on the poruwa. She presented the book to her parents, Soma Hewage and Piyasena Hewage, first and then to her husband, while the invitees including her family members and relatives flocked around them in admiration.

Thereafter, copies of the book were presented to the invitees.
