Pan Asia Bank empowers SME customers with Webinar

Sustaining valuable engagement with its base of SME customers, Pan Asia Bank recently organized a webinar via Zoom for more than 250 of its customers.

The webinar which was moderated by Naleen Edirisinghe, Snr. DGM of Pan Asia Bank was live-streamed on the bank’s official Facebook page and attracted a large number of viewers. The webinar focused on the theme, ‘Revitalizing the Small & Medium Enterprises’ and was conducted by Dr. Nirmal de Silva.

A webinar on this topic was very timely as businesses have been badly affected by the lockdown and curfews imposed to combat COVID-19. SMEs especially have been hit the hardest during this period and this webinar was Pan Asia Bank’s way to support its SME customer base by offering perspectives and solutions to get their businesses back on track.

Pan Asia Bank is committed to support SMEs irrespective of their scale - big or small - as it considers them to be the lifeblood of our economy. Synonymous with SME banking, Pan Asia is activelyaddressing national priorities by supporting the SME sector to help them achieve their full potential.

Pan Asia Bank identifies SMEs and then supports them through low cost funding and technical and business management skills.

In addition to this initiative, Pan Asia Bank deployed a range of value added services to ensure customers could stay at home safely and yet could access its banking solutions during the pandemic with Mobile ATM services.
