The two all rounders captain Wanarathanalage Yenula Devthusa and the Vice Captain Rivith Jayasuriya of Prince of Wales’ College, Moratuwa performed well in the under 13 division one cricket team to reach into the semi finals of the all island under 13 cricket tournament 2019/20 for the Singer Trophy. Cambrians were unbeaten through out the tournament winning 12 matches continuously. In the semi finals, they lost to Trinity College, Kandy on points.

A Right-handed batsman, a left-arm leg spinner and a solid batsman in the middle order who’s also team captain, Yenula, excelled with the ball by claiming 47 wickets with 4 five wickets hauls, his best being 6 for 18 against Zahira College, Colombo and also collected 212 runs in 12 innings and unbeaten on 4 occasions at an average of 26.5. He commenced playing for under 13 team in 2015 and last year he was the vice captain and captured 36 scalps and scored 198 runs.

He started playing for Cambrians in 2015 and 2016 in division two of under 13 and played in 2017 and 2018 and in 2019 and 2020. He was the vice captain of the team last year.

Right-handed opening batsman, right-arm off spinner and vice captain, Rivith scored 635 runs at an average of 48.8 and he notched up 2 centuries and 3 fifties and the highest being 144 runs against Presidents College, Maharagama and his other century was an unbeaten 112 runs versus Zahira. In the second round he scored 86 versus Devananda dna 61 against Sri Sumangala.

He commenced playing for under 13 in 2017/18, 2018/19 and this year. Last year playing in the same age group he passed the 400 mark and he is a fine close in fielder.

Later he was promoted to division one. His first coach was Bandula de Silva and at school Rivith and Yenula was coached by Dilshan Fernando, Kalpa Fernando and Asela Sampath.
