622 naval personnel recovered from COVID-19

As of now, 622 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19, stated the Sri Lanka Navy.
Another fourteen (14) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospital, were discharged from the hospital being tested negative to COVID-19, on 10th June 2020.
These naval personnel who were identified positive to coronavirus, had been admitted to hospitals. Out of these fourteen, 07 persons in Naval General Hospital, 03 persons in Kaththankuddy hospital, 02 persons in IDH hospital, 01 person in Homagama hospital and 01 person in Welikanda hospital, were under treatment. Since, these sailors found negative to COVID-19 on the reports of random PCR tests done under treatment, they were discharged on 10th June 2020.
Further, these discharged naval personnel were directed to keep under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions.
