Health Minister calls on Cardinal

Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi called on Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith yesterday at his official residence where she briefed him on the government’s efforts and the measures that have been taken so far to contain the spread of the Coronovirus in Sri Lanka.  

During the meeting, the Minister added that the government will continue to provide relief to the public while strengthening measures to uplift the livelihood its people. The Cardinal praised the government’s efforts, particularly the health authorities, Tri-Forces, Police during the last few months.
