Over 200 in Kalutara affected by rains

Two hundred and five persons from 56 families belonging to 30 Grama Sevaka divisions in the Kalutara district have been affected by the prevailing strong winds and torrential rains according to the latest report released by the Kalutara district National Disaster Relief Services Officer attached to the Kalutara District Disaster Management Centre.

The latest disaster report for the area says that the worst affected is Bulathsinhala where 75 persons from 20 families in five GS divisions in the Bulathsinhala Divisional Secretariat have been affected with 20 houses partially damaged.
