The HNB and Hutch sponsored Clay Court Nationals and organised by Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) will be held end June at SLTA Hard Courts, Green Path, Colombo 7.
The Clay Court Nationals being the most significant tournament listed on the SLTA Tennis Tour calendar attracts all the top ranking Junior and Senior players of the country generating much enthusiasm.
The Clay Court Nationals will comprise the following events: Under 12 Singles Girls/Boys, Under 14 Singles/Doubles Girls/Boys, Under 16 Singles/Doubles Girls/Boys, Under 18 Singles/Doubles Girls/Boys, Open Men’s/Women’s Singles, Mixed Doubles, Senior Over 35/45/55 Singles and Doubles events.
This tournament includes Wheel Chair Tennis singles and doubles as well. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with ITF Rules and Code of Conduct.
Dharaka Ellawala will be the Referee of the tournament while the Tournament Director will be Ganendran Subramaniam.
ITF certified ball ‘Head’ will be the official ball for the tournament.
Hatton National Bank and Hutchison Telecommunication Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will be the main sponsors. NDB Bank, Ceylinco Life, Walker Tours and RBN have joined the event as co-sponsors.
