Kollywood resumes work

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, all the shooting and film production works had been halted since March 19. However now, the Tamil Nadu government has allowed filmmakers to begin post-production works with certain restrictions imposed by the government.

Teams that had been awaiting this decision, immediately got to work and the cinema works have reportedly resumed after 52 days. Now, as per the latest report, works on Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’, that had been suspended since before the lockdown have now resumed, and a few other films’ post production works have started as well.

According to reports, here are the films that resumed their work. The editing work of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’, which is directed by Shankar has begun at two separate places. Also, the dubbing works of Vishal’s ‘Chakra’, which is directed by MS Anandan, and Sibiraj’s ‘Kabadadaari’, which is directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, have begun. The graphic works of Trisha’s action thriller ‘Raangi’ have also started, and few other films are expected to join the list in the coming days.

Also, it is being said that all these works are being carried with five or lesser people as advised by the government to maintain social distancing. TNN
