859 curfew violators arrested

Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 859 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 206 vehicles.

Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 8th May the police have arrested 48,725 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 12,654 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
