Easter attacks: Another suspect arrested

The police arrested another suspect linked to the Easter Sunday terror attacks, Police Media Spokesman SSP Jaliya Senaratne said.

Investigations have revealed that the suspect was a trustee of a training centre in Kalpitiya where the ringleader of the Easter attacks, Zahran Hashim, had conducted lectures.

The Police Spokesman noted that this training centre had been operating under the guise of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) and the arrested suspect had been operating as its trustee.

SSP Senaratne said that the CID is conducting further investigations.
