COVID-19 cases rise to 77 - UPDATE

Health and Indigenous Medicine Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi stated that five new cases of the Coronavirus were reported today.  This raises the total number of Coronavirus infected cases to 77 in the country. 

The Health Minister issued the latest update at the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 today.

Currently, there are 3063 persons in quarantine at 22 centres in the country.  

The minister announced that the government has taken several measures to contain the spread of the virus.

Four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sri Lanka. The total number of Lankans who have contracted COVID-19 to 76, says Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi.
