The SJB had nominated Mangala Samaraweera, Buddika Pathirana, Chathura Galappaththi, Kapila Gamage, Ranjith Munasinghe, Rohan Jayawickrema, Sahindu Siththi Mashura, Nandasiri Gamage, Samson Silva and Ravi Kumara.

The UNP’s list of nominees included Gayan Sanjeewa, Chandana Priyantha, Kalhara Ilangamge, Krishantha Haputhanthrige, Janith Wickremasinghe, Hewavalimunige Premarathne, Jagath Kumara Nallaperuma, Nandasena Sellahewa, Dinesh Vidanapathirana and Ananda Thripathi Kumara.
