Meemure locksdown for tourists

The cabana owners of Meemure village who provide accommodation to tourists have agreed not to provide accommodation to any tourists in the next two weeks.

This is after they were made aware of the danger of Covid-19 spreading said Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna member of Udadumbara Pradeshiya Saba Kithsiri Wijekoon. He informed of this matter to Udadumbara Divisional Secretary and the Udadumbara Police Station also.The residents of the area said that they will face problems when tourists visit the village without prior notification and stay in inns there .
