A fine match bag of 8 for 30 (6/16 and 2/14) by right arm leg spinner Hasindu Chamod helped Methodist School Rawatawatte Moratuwa to beat formidable St. Thomas Prep School Colpetty by eight wickets in their inter school under 13 division three knock out tournament match played at Moratuwa. By virtue of this win Rawatawatte Methodians have qualified for the fourth round.
Batting first Colpetty Thomians were shot out for 90 runs and in reply homesters were all out for 126 runs and in their second essay visitors declared at 102 for 8 with Sadhil Perera scoring 53 runs and set to make 67 runs for an outright win homesters notched up the required score for the loss of two wickets.
