All Ceylon Muslim League celebrates International Women’s Day

The All Ceylon Muslim League Youth Front’s Ampara District Federation celebrated International Women’s Day in Sammanthurai, recently.

The function was organised by Federation President G. Rifa Musthafa, at which High Court Judge N.M. Abdullah was the chief guest.

Eight key female personalities in the Ampara district, who had excelled in their respective fields, were felicitated at the ceremony, and they are: Akkaraipattu Medical Officer of Health (MOH), Dr. Farooza Nakfer; Pottuvil Pradeshiya Sabha (PS) Member, S.T.Sabura Ummah; Irakkamam Assistant Divisional Secretary, Naheeja Musafir; Nintavur Retired Administrative Officer, K.U.A. Majeed; Sainthamaruthu Teacher Naslin Rifka Ansar; and Sammanthurai Women’s Activists Y.B. Fathummah and Fareetha Ismail.

The All Ceylon Muslim League Youth Front Ampara District Federation Chief Advisor S.L. Athambawa, Attorney A.C.F. Husna, All Ceylon Muslim League Youth Front former President M.I. Uthumalebbe, and All Ceylon Muslim League Youth Front Ampara District Federation President M.M. Ajwath were also present.
