Fairfirst Insurance announced the renewal of their partnership with the Colombo Colts Cricket Club as their Official Sponsor for 2020.
The partnership, which commenced 2017 was renewed for the third year, with the objective of recognizing sportsmanship and nurturing sports.
Speaking about the partnership with Colombo Colts Cricket Club, Managing Director and CEO of Fairfirst Insurance, Dr. Sanjeev Jha, stated, “I believe sports is a great way to bring people together, encourage healthy lifestyles, break boundaries and make our world a happier place. It teaches fairness, teamwork and the value of hard work. These are values very dear to Fairfirst. Thus, we are delighted with this partnership with the Colts Cricket Club, which is a champion club of Sri Lanka.”
The Colombo Colts Cricket Club has been instrumental in producing some of the best-known cricketers to the country, such as Roy Dias, Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluwitharana and Angelo Mathews. Several outstanding women cricketers who represent the national team, are also part of the Club’s Women’s Wing.
