The Embassy of China in Sri Lanka said that, China will donate 50,000 medical face masks and 1,000 novel coronavirus (COVID19) test kits and 50,000 to Sri Lanka.
The Chinese Government has extended its fullest support to Sri Lanka to fight against COVID-19.
A meeting between the Deputy Chief of Mission & Political Counsellor of China, Hu Wei and Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi was held at the Chinese Embassy yesterday .
During the meeting the Acting Chinese Ambassador Hu Wei had told Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi that the Chinese Government will extend the fullest support to Sri Lanka to fight against COVID-19.
The Acting Ambassador had promised to provide financial assistance, medications, medical equipment or anything required to fight against COVID-19.
