Twelve injured in wasp attack

Nallathanniya Police said that 12 pilgrims were admitted to the Maskeliya hospital with injuries due to a wasp attack near the ‘Seethagangula’ area on the Nallathanniya-Sri Pada road.

Maskeliya hospital doctors said there were three children and five women among the injured.

The doctors said their conditions were not serious.

The pilgrims have come from Ragama. They were attacked by wasps when they stopped at ‘Seethagangula’ to bathe.
