Rajiva wins medals at Masters’ meets

Rajiva Wijetunge, Sri Lanka’s over 60 shot putt champion won gold medals at the Gampaha District Masters Athletics Meet, Colombo Throwing Club Meet and Sri Lanka Masters Athletics Meet in the shot putt event competing in men’s over 60 category.

Incidentally Rajiva hurled the shot putt to a distance of 10.85 Meters at the Colombo Throwing Club Meet, which was his personal best performance this year.

At the recently concluded Sri Lanka Masters Athletics Meet, Wijetunge won a silver medal for over 60 discus throw at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
