As the world celebrates the International Women’s Day (IWD) tomorrow, women around the world still face an uphill struggle for equality in all spheres of life including work. The gender pay gap in all sectors from manual labour to professional vocations will not be bridged for another 167 years. Millions of women worldwide still toil day and night in abysmal conditions to earn a living. Here a woman working at a saltern in the harsh sun quenches her thirst during a short break.
