Orient Insurance Limited, one of the fastest growing general insurance companies in Sri Lanka, opened yet another fully-fledged branch in Panadura, situated on Galle Road, Pinwatte, Panadura.
The new office boasts easy access, ample parking and many customer conveniences. Recently the company opened similar offices in Avissawella, Kegalle, and Dambulla.
Commenting on the occasion, the Chairman of the company, senior insurance veteran and President of Orient Group of Insurance Companies, Omer Elamin observed that “Orient Insurance is here to stay and brings a host of world class insurance solutions and best practices to Sri Lanka”.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Executive of the company Mr. Tanuj Edward observed, “Orient Insurance had dedicated this year to bring insurance closer to the door steps of our valued customers and business partners. This Panadura branch opening too is in pursuit of this objective.” He further added that “the insurance awareness and penetration levels in Sri Lanka are extremely low and Orient Insurance is making a conscious decision. We are very keen to take every possible step to educate customers and bring protection closer to them”.
Head of Distribution, Rochana Kulatunge emphasized that the company is fully geared and energized to provide an unmatched service experience to all customers and stakeholders. Amidst much fanfare from island wide invitees, the Panadura branch Manager Thilina Silva accepted formal responsibilities from the Zonal Head of his Region Mr. Dhammika Gunasena.
