BARKING DOE IN SAFE HANDS:

A Barking Doe (Weli Muwadena) that was attacked by a pack of dogs in Maskeliya, was rescued by a group of estate employees yesterday morning (3). Its ears had been bitten off by the dogs. The animal was handed over to the Wildlife Officers in Nallathanni. Picture by Maskeliya Group Corr.
