Sajith asked to contest from Kurunegala

Kurunegala UNP parliamentarians said Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balavegaya Leader Sajith Premadasa should contest the forthcoming elections in April from Kurunegala, Kurunegala UNP MP Thushara Indunil Amarasena said yesterday.

He was speaking at a media briefing in Kurunegala yesterday.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will contest the elections from the Kurunegala this time and the Kurunegala UNP MPs invite Sajith Premadasa, who will be the candidate for the office of the PM, he said.
