Police Inspector killed in accident

An Inspector of Police (IP) attached to the Matara SOCO Division is reported dead after he lost the control of his motor bicycle and hit a wall at the Dickwella area on Sunday.

The accident had taken place at the Godauda area along the Matara- Dickwella main road around 12.40 midnight.

The deceased is a 45-year-old resident of Wewurukannala, Dickwella Area.

Police are investigating.
