SEUSL Journalism students visit media institutions

A group of students holding the Diploma in Journalism (External) from the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) visited the print and electronic media institutions in Colombo on an observation tour and training programme recently.

South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) Diploma in Journalism Course Co-ordinator, Prof. Ramees Abdullah accompanied the students on the instruction of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) Vice-Chancellor Prof.M.M.M. Naajim.

They visited Sri Lankan Parliament, Media institutions, the Associated News Papers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL-Lake House), Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC), ITN Sri Lanka, Wijaya News papers and Express News Papers Ceylon Pvt Limited.

The students numbering 35 benefited on this two- day tour. They thanked the institutions for their valuable supports.
