Lustrous looks for every relationship

Love it or leave it- Valentine’s Day, the celebration of romance is only a few days away. It is one of the most special days of the year, and it’s time to look your prettiest. It doesn’t matter if you are going on a special date, romantic night out, looking for one, or just a walk with friends and family, you want to look and feel your absolute best with amazing healthy and rosy glow vibe.

Daywear

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it’s time to start prepping the ultimate date outfit. While classic reds and pinks might be an obvious choice, winter whites and blazer dresses give a different twist on V-day style. No matter what kind of date you have planned for February 14 or beyond, take a look at these stylish outfit ideas.

  •  Floral summer dresses are ideal for a day time date when paired with the perfect accessories.
  •  Match your accessories to a detail in the dress. Instead of matching your accessories to the overall colour of the dress, match them to a secondary colour in your dress. This works especially well with patterned dresses, because there is more than one colour you can match with.
  •  Bring the right bag. You want your handbag to compliment your dress but also to be appropriate for whatever you are doing. Many women overlook the impression that a handbag can make!
  •  If you’re going to a formal event, do not use a large or bulky handbag. Bring a simple clutch instead.
  • You can never go wrong with a basic black leather handbag. It’s versatile and can go with virtually any dress or level of formality.

Daytime make up

Less is more. Let your natural skin finish shine through her foundation, but added a bit of drama with winged eyeliner and long lashes.

The steps: Run a black liner around your top lash line and either add lots of mascara or a few false lashes.

Daytime hairdos

  •  Hair swept to the side and curled.
  •  Sleek and Straight.
  •  Keep ironed hair straight all day by locking in the style with a humidity-fighting oil (for thick hair) or shine spray (for fine hair).
  •  Sweep and part hair on your good side, securing with bobby pins. Add some flat iron waves to give it an edgy, rocker vibe.

Daytime nails

Modern French manicures are back in full force this year. Cool manicures are perfect for Valentine’s Day. Go for a deep, rich red to really bring the look home.

Eveningwear

  •  A slinky slip just screams romance, and if you’re headed to a fancy date night it’s an easy piece to throw on that looks absolutely killer. Dress it up even further with a sparkly purse and strappy black heels.
  •  What better time to wear a fitted, curve-hugging red dress than on Valentine’s Day? The ruching on the bottom half both hides imperfections and accentuates the best parts of a woman’s body. Match your jewelry to the tone of your dress. Every colour has a tone. Red, orange, and yellow all have a warm tone. Green, blue and purple are all cool toned. Similarly, gold has a warm tone to it while silver has a cool tone.
  •  Don’t be afraid to experiment, however; gold can look quite striking with green.
  •  White and black are considered neutral tones, so you can wear gold or silver jewelry with them.
  •  Brown and tan come in cool and warm undertones. In this case, match the jewelry to the undertone.

Nighttime hairdos

  •  Go for a top knot. A top knot works for every occasion and is the perfect style to go from the boardroom to fancy soirée.
  •  Pump up the volume. Loose, big curls are easy to maintain all day well into your Valentine’s Day plans if you prep with the right mousse.

Perfect perfumes

  •  Chloé Love Story Eau de Parfum with neroli, jasmine, and cedarwood.

Smells like: You’re lying on a bed of flowers.

  •  Eau de Cartier with yuzu, bergamot, violet leaves and flowers, musk, lavender, cedarwood, patchouli, and amber.

Smells like: A bushel of expensive oranges.

Touch up tricks

Keep a powder and a lipstick handy in your purse or handbag to touch up.
